A Big Weekend.

This weekend I got a lot of work done, huge clean up in the hanger getting ready for the big flying next weekend. Also the fuse was painted (A big thanks to Simon), next is to paint some flooring and some side panels, "I hate paint " IT SUCKS.


We Started to Paint

Big thanks to Simon for splashing some paint on, what a great job he does. I can tell you from the prep side its a lot of work, i have spent hours prepping all of the parts, only got a few painted today do to another job he has, so i just fit in where i can and as its just primer, it works in well.
Piss poor prep , is piss poor finish. worth the time spent

No4 Spar Pass Through

Not happy with the original fit, it was remake and redrill the
No4, Happy now!!! all there is to do, rivit it back in.

Right Wing finished

Right wing just getting outboard fuel tanks sealed up and its all go for paint,
hope to have left wing finished within a week.

Last weekend i painted the emp with some chramte primer.

Plane Progress Update

Thanks to help from Simon, Sam, and Rod, i have finished some fibre glass and
also painted the Canopy in a test Black primer color. Happy with the color and looks
like this will be the finished paint job, bit more work to do on the intersection fairing
and we can break down the back end for painting.

Fiber Glass Hell

my first attempt of making a fiberglass mold has sort of worked with some
very usefull learning, its good enough for me to do the first dorsal fin off and
will see how that goes from there
